A Bit About Me
The Making of "One RELEASE"
I began my music career as a pianist, singer and songwriter in the small New England town of Woodstock, CT. My varied musical experiences and education eventually led me to Long Island, NY., where I teach high school choir and music theory.
In 2022, tragedy struck when my wife Alyssa, mother to our son Abraham, passed away from cancer. Out of this dark time of immense self discovery and introspection, the spark for my first full length album - One Release - was born. The result, an eclectic collection of original songs that defy simple categorization and open a new door in today’s music scene.
My musical influences - artists like Elton John, Phil Collins, Genesis, Keane, Annie Lennox, Chicago, Journey, Peter Gabriel, Stevie Winwood and others - inspire and infuse my song creation - rich in melody, supported by piano, bass, guitar, drums, with precise vocal harmonies, complex horn and string arrangements, evolving into a powerful mix that is uniquely my own. Rockers like “Sweet Surrender” and “The Jester” and anthems like “Free To Be” or “Let It Rain” hit a nerve and connect deeply.
This is just the beginning of an extensive catalogue. One Release is the first, but not the last in my journey in life and music.
